1.Current status

Payments are technically disabled (feature flag PAYMENTS_ENABLED=false). There is therefore currently no paid contract that you would need to withdraw from.

You end the free plan yourself at any time by deleting your account.

2.Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you can withdraw from a contract concluded online within 14 days without giving reasons (§ 11 FAGG). The period begins on the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, a clear statement is sufficient – via the withdrawal function in your account (see section 4) or by email to us. A model withdrawal form will be provided here.

Detail will follow before launchName, address and email address to which a withdrawal can be sent. [to be added before launch]

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the statement before the 14 days expire.

3.Effects of withdrawal and compensation

After a withdrawal we refund all payments without undue delay, at the latest within 14 days, using the same means of payment.

If you expressly requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period, you owe a pro-rata amount for the period provided until withdrawal (§ 16 FAGG). This amount depends solely on duration – not on the number of suggestions already shown or a flat valuation of the initial service (CJEU C-641/19; OGH 4 Ob 179/18d).

Open point (legal review)Define the calculation method for pro-rata compensation and align it with the chosen contract model (term, total price).

4.Withdrawal function in your account

For contracts concluded via an online interface, § 13a FAGG (inserted by the Consumer Rights Amendment Act 2026, BGBl. I No. 59/2026) requires a dedicated withdrawal function from 30 September 2026. FOUND LOVE will implement it as follows:

  • A clearly visible “Withdraw from contract” button in your account, available throughout the withdrawal period.
  • A second step in which you confirm your details and select the contract, with a “Confirm withdrawal” button.
  • An immediate acknowledgement with date and time on a durable medium (email).
  • No additional hurdles: no new login as a precondition, no follow-up questions, no retention offers before confirmation.
Open point (legal review)Check the exact labels, placement and content of the confirmation against the final statutory text; implement the function before paid plans are introduced.

5.Cooling-off period under the professional rules

If a matchmaking contract is concluded outside business premises, you have a one-week cooling-off period under § 4 of the professional rules for matchmaking agencies (BGBl. No. 434/1987). Rights under § 3 KSchG remain unaffected.

Open point (legal review)Clarify the relationship between the cooling-off period under § 4 of the professional rules and the FAGG right of withdrawal for online contracts.

6.Termination after the withdrawal period

Independently of withdrawal, the contractually agreed termination rights and § 15 KSchG for contracts on recurring services apply. There will only be automatic renewal if it is designed lawfully and you are reminded in good time beforehand.
